The villa is situated in a one-of-a-kind location, a striking atmosphere, on the southern seaboard of Sri Lanka. Distinct from the majority of the seaside hotels and villas, situated directly on the Colombo-Matara route, Walauwa Villa is situated at a distance from the road, in the village of Walliwala, which translates 'blessed by the heavens', where, according to the legend, the goddess Walli Amma, the wife of the god Kataragama, respected in Sri Lanka, was born. Such a location surrounds you with the pure sounds of nature with no disturbance from the sounds of the main road. We are also proud to claim one of the best sights of the ocean on the suothern seaboard, which opens out on our terrace
