Octopus Reef in Kabalana – rated among the top professional Surf sites in Sri Lanka – is the perfect destination for a beach holiday. Surf, snorkel, fish or laze in the natural ‘reef pool’, sunbathe or just sit back & enjoy its breathtaking sunsets.

The space

The villa is an antique-styled house with stunning sea-view porch and balcony, two large air-conditioned family rooms with lofts leading to the deck outside and modern attached bathrooms supplied with solar-heated water.
Breakfast is included & we are happy to allow our guests use of the kitchen to prepare their own meals (charged @ Rs. 1,000/- per meal & Rs. 1,500/- for BBQ). What we do advice, however, is that you enjoy your holiday and allow our Chef to delight your palette. The fresh seafood BBQ spread of calamari, fish, prawns, crabs & oysters caught in the vicinity is a special treat.

To make your stay comfortable:
Our environment-friendly practice makes for Bed Linen & Towel change every third day, but feel free to request a change anytime.

• Body Boards, Snorkels & Flippers are available on request @ Rs. 200 per day.
• ALWAYS ask for safe area before swimming in the Ocean. Your safety is important to us.
• Multiple Adaptors for electronic devices, Mosquito Coils & plug-in devices are available free of charge.
• A refrigerator is available upstairs where guests are advised to store all alcohol.
• Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 10:30 am. Please coordinate meals & Bed Tea with staff.
• Staff retires at 10 p.m. each night in order to prepare for the next day.
• Since there is no Service Charge, you may tip the staff.
